Product Description:
Paraffin wax, also called wax crystal shape. Soluble in nonpolar solven like gasoline, carbon disulfide, xylene, ethyl ether, benzene, chloroform, carbon tetrachloride, insoluble in polar solvent such as methanol water.
It's a mixture of hydrocarbons, the main ingredient is solid paraffin, which is odourless tasteless and white or pale yellow transparent solid. Paraffin is amorphous, but it has obvious crystal structure. There is also man-made paraffin.

Mainly used in the manufacture of matches, fiber board, sail, etc.
Widely used in moisture-proof, waterproof paper, cardboard, some surface coating and candles in the textile production.
Used in packing for food, medicine, metal anti-rusting and printing.
Adding paraffin to cotton yarn, it can make the fabrics soft, smooth and elastic.
Can be used to make synthetic fatty acid by oxidation procession.
We normally list 24 months as the shelf life in our COA, the real shelf life can be slightly longer than 24 months if it's stocked in good condition (bags are sealed enough, away from direct sun-light, moisture and other incompatible chemical materials), but it's still suggested to avoid long time storage.
